ATLANTA — The Internal Revenue Service will host a direct hiring event for customer support and administrative positions to fill more than 100 vacancies available at the Chamblee Service Center next Wednesday and Thursday, Oct. 2-3.
The jobs fair will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Atlanta Marriott Northeast/Emory Area, 2000 Century Blvd, NE, Atlanta.
The two-day event will be open to the public with registration. Apply for pre-qualification through registration on Eventbrite’s exclusive announcement. Walk-ins will be accepted after 12 p.m.
What is a direct hire event?
During the event, IRS hiring officials will make job offers on-the-spot to qualified attendees. Priority consideration will be given to job seekers that registered and applied to the job posting prior to the event.

Contact Representatives
Contact Representatives will provide over-the-phone technical assistance to individuals and businesses throughout the country. Contact Reps apply the tax code while addressing a wide range of issues to assist taxpayers in understanding and meeting their tax responsibilities and ensure compliance with filing and payment of federal tax.
These entry level positions do not require prior tax experience. The IRS’ top-notch training programs will teach individuals everything they need to know to prepare them to be successful in these positions.
